Plymouth City Mercury Lighting

St Budeaux- On the private path to the railway station is this MBF/U Eleco HW918 lantern. All the other lights on the station are Urbis ZX1s or ZX2s, so this is a lucky survivor. It is the only example in the city as far as I am aware. The column is a typical railway-used Abacus drop-down type. There appears to be some water in the outer globe and the lantern has just lately been unlit.

As of August 2006, the lantern has had a brand new lamp fitted.
