Wars have been waged for centuries, with the soul intent of one group dominating the other. Throughout history we have been told numerous stories of heros and heroines of the battlefield. My play "PLEASE" takes another look at war. "PLEASE" is a one act monologue of three women in different times in history and their experiences of war. This piece was written to bring light to the plight of women in war torn countries of the past and the present.
The characters are:
SARAH: Holocaust Survivor, age-middle to late eighties
JAMILAH: Bosnian Muslim Refugee, age-middle to late thirties
ADIA: Young Sudanese Woman, age-early to middle twenties
