Panther Equestrian Club

The Panther Equestrian Club provides a chance for students of the University of Pittsburgh to take Western and Hunt Seat Equitation lessons and hang out with other horse crazy people in a city setting. There is transportation provided to all lessons, arranged by the club. Lessons are sold in a more student affordable package. There are also opportunities to hang out with other club members. Normally, trips such as bowling, mini-golfing, formal, semi-formal, and informal events are arranged for all members to attend.

The club is open to all students of the University of Pittsburgh and lessons will be provided for all skill levels. Even if you don't know how to ride, we can teach you. If you know how to ride, we have lessons for you too. If you show, there is plenty of opportunity to show in IHSA shows.

There are only a few requirements:
-Mandatory attendance to all club meetings
-Help at the Pitt Horse Show
-Complete fundraising for each semester (Amount to be specified)
-Pay club dues (about $30 per semester)
-Purchase a lesson package
-Join IHSA (membership fee about $30 per year)
-Be willing to show if needed
