I have been breeding pit bulls for 18 years, I have been doing rescue for about that long also. I started having a love for these dogs at the young age of 14 years old.. A friend named James had given me a pit bull named Ginger.. She was an awesome pit bull, she was very obedient, went with me everywhere. At first, she was very skiddish, and would pee on herself every time you would raise your voice to her.. I worked with her for a year or a little longer.. She finally let me gain her trust, and then she was the best dog ever.. Me and this dog were best friends.. She stayed in a kennel outside when I was gone. She could easily have jumped the fence at any time.. She would never jump the fence until she was called. (pics below of her coming over the gate to her pen when called.) I cannot explain to you how people made me feel when they said that she was a vicious dog.. My mom would not even let me live at home with her.. I vowed to Ginger at that time to give the breed a positive image, and prove everyone wrong that a dog is only the way you have raised it.. Until this day I have managed to keep the positive image of The American Pit Bull Terrier. I fought with my whole family over Ginger, my brother-in-law tried to take her from me because at that time I had to live with my sister, and had no job. So, I went to work first job at 15 years old worked as a car-hop to take care of my dog. But he continued to try and take her from me. So I finally convinced my mom that Ginger was a great dog, and that she would not bother anything or anyone and she let me move back home. I had to find Ginger a home, because I could not take care of her and my mom was complaining about having to take care of her. I found her a great home, where the people kept her in the house and spoiled her. To say the least these people eventually moved off with my dog Ginger, and I never saw her again.

Then I had a friend a few years after that. She introduced me to the Toborg's, and I traded a pup I had for Nickodemus.. He was another great dog. I trained him to protect me, and I would let the neighborhood kids come by and tease him. So that he would protect me, and not let anyone near me, he made an excellent protector. I was 18 years old at that time.. I had Nick for several years, and then my oldest daughter's (Deah) dad stole Nick from me. He tried to use him as a trade for my daughter, that was not going to happen. So, I had to let another great dog go... He did produce some of the greatest dogs on my yard thankfully before he was stolen. Gigalo to name one great dog. Gigalo lived with us for 12 years and he died of a heart attack one day when he went out to get a drink. He sired some of the best dogs I have ever seen.. He also sired Scrappie Doo, they had the same father (Nickodemus) different mothers. Scrappie lived with us up until she was 10 years old. (Stormy is a pup from her last litter) She died unexpectedly after the pups were about 2 weeks old. These two led up to be the best foundation dogs.. They produced some of the nicest pups I have ever seen.. BlackJack & Sox, to name a couple. Sox is the dam of Smurf, he is another great, I just wish that we could be blessed to have him back.

Above is Nick, this beautiful girl is Sassy, they were the first foundation dogs on the yard!!!!!
I will tell you I have had my share of hard times, and I have always tried to hold everything together. When I had my kennel and rescue in Luther, my husband left me, with all bills, all dogs, rescues and kids. It was hard, then the DHS lets me take my niece in, we got evicted, I had to sell and give away a lot of dogs and puppies to try and survive with 3 kids and my niece. 1 year after that I have my boyfriend spank my children leave bruises on my kids, and they were taken by DHS. I had to move away from Luther once more, selling all dogs and giving away dogs. I had to move to the city. The dog pound decides to give me a hard time, because I have too many adult dogs in the city limits. Only allowed four adult dogs. Here we go again, did contracts for pups back. Hopefully we will be moving soon. This time, I believe that I have been blessed with a great husband, I have my kids back, and slowly rebuilding my kennel. We have lots of pups coming, and it may be a while before we are back, but we will have some more awesome breedings coming in 2009.. We have been an ADBA registered kennel for 6 years this January. Wanted to let everyone know that the Browning's dogs are also my bloodline.. I just thought up my kennel name, because that is the only thing I had to remember my dancing days.. That is another LONG story..

Our house in McCloud didn't work out, so we have moved to Lexington, OK... We have a 2 year lease at this time.. We are planning on buying some land and moving a new home onto it.... Watch us grow!!!!
2008 is going to be great!!!!!
2009 we will be fine!!!!!!!!!
