The purpose of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Booster Club is to promote Arena Football, to support the players and their families, to perform charitable works in the community, and to encourage sportsmanship among fans and players and to have fun when ever possible!!
Yearly membership dues are $10.00 per adult member, Junior Membership (15-17) $5.00, 14 and under no charge with parent's membership. Meetings are held at 7:30 pm, the third Wednesday of each month at the Ground Round, MundyStreet, Wilkes-Barre.
Here are some of the things we do, as an organization:
The WBSPBC sponsors AF2 bus trips that are open to all of our members in order to provide support to our team in its travels. We also host visiting booster club members when they visit our arena. This enables us to get to know other teams' fans, and of course have a lot of fun as well. We have contacted some of the other clubs and provide them info on this area for when they come to visit.
The Booster Club hosts "Meet the Players" events. These events offer an opportunity to have some fun with our players and coaches and get to know them.
The Booster Club works with and donates to various charitable organizations in our local area.
The WBSPBC helps our players adjust to life in our area by distributing packets of information, coupons, food vouchers, etc. and assisting them when needed.
Fund raising is a something the Booster Club does in order to help with the cost of our charitable contributions, and special events.
The Booster Club assists the Pioneers front office with volunteers for events as needed.
The sale of Pioneers Booster Club fan attire and novelty items is part of the way we show our support for the team as well.
The most visible way we support our Pioneers is by letting them know we are there when they are on the field at home and especially when they are away!
