Do-it-yourself PTK T-shirts!
You can create your own T-Shirt using PTK logos and wallpapers! Just follow the simple to do directions and wollah! You now have your own PTK shirt!
What you will need:
- Plain Cotton T-Shirt
- Transfer Paper ( you can get at any NBS branch or your favorite computer shop )
- Flat Iron
- Printer
Step 1.
Buy transfer paper from a hobby store. Print a mirror image by ticking the mirror image box under the page layout tab in the printer's setting so it will iron-on in the correct orientation on your shirt. You can dowload some of the cool designs in this page.
Step 2.
Get a flat iron and pre-heat to medium or full power. It's advisable to do some practice runs on small pieces of transfer paper just to get the gist of the ironing. Better yet call your maid to do it for you.:)
Step 3.
Place the transfer paper with print on the part of the shirt where you want the design to be. Make sure there are no wrinkles. Fail to do so and you will ruin your shirt and pricey transfer paper. Iron evenly in different directions for three to five minutes.
Step 4.
Let the paper and the shirt cool for one or two minutes. When it is cool enough to touch, begin peeling slowly from one corner. Don't let the paper cool down too much - it will make the paper harder to peel, potentially destroying your image.
Step 5.
It's advisable to wash the shirt before you wear it. Wash only with cold tap water and avoid the image when you iron the shirt.
Wallpapers
Click the image you wish to download and it will open in a new window. You can then set this image as your desktop by right clicking the image and picking 'Set as Background' from the contextual menu. Enjoy!
Save the file to your folders for a fine fit to your desktop and set as wallpaper.
