About Me
I am Alyssa. 24 years old and have a lot of hobbies. I like to write, sing and spend time with my family and daughter. I have a daughter who is all most two years old and 2 sisters and a brother. My mother and father. I love spending time with them all. I am a Christian and believe Jesus Died for our Sins. So that we can have Eternal life forever. I am making this site to share with you stories, poetry , pictures and stuff related to what I believe in and what makes me happy. Why is my site called Heart of Gold? My mother calls me her Heart of Gold. And I think it works for this name of the site. Because when you have God in your life it is like Gold. You are not poor when you have God. God is always with you. So that's why it is called Heart of Gold. I hope you enjoy it lets start the journey of fun.

So Lets get started 
I want to share more about me. I used to have a low esteem in a lot. I was the kid that sat with my parents with the adults at family get togethers. It is where I felt I fit in. I think being with them made me feel special in some sort of way. In school I sat by myself a lot when I was little. A lot of the kids made fun of me. I was different and kids did not accept different. In Middle School things changed. I started to find more kids that were different like me . Why am I telling you about school well this is where some of my inspirations started. I had a English Teacher that believed in me. We were doing poetry. This was in 6th or 7th grade. I wrote a poem about the Titanic and my teacher loved it. She took me aside and told me I had a real talent. I remember my teacher asking me to never quit writing and from then on I never stopped. Writing became an inspiration in my life. I wrote all the time. I did not write as many Christian poems at first. As I got older I wrote more. Now on to the next inspiration in my life that makes me who I am also. My mother is the one who gave me the next inspiration. My mom used to sing all the time. My mom had such a beautiful voice she still does. Well she would practice in the living room as I would listen to her sing from my bedroom I would quietly sing with her. I wanted to have a beautiful voice like her someday and to feel what she did when she sang. When she sang I would feel this peace wash over me. I wanted to have this. I still hope someday me and her will sing together in church. These things in my life made me stronger as I grew up. Growing up I had a way of getting myself in trouble like any kid or teenager does. My dad taught us kids by discipline how to be stronger. He taught me persistence in getting my first job. In the end this all paid off. Even know I had struggles in life. I made it through some of the toughest things. And who do I have to thank for this? God thats who. God gave me the guidance, parents, friends and teachers in life to mold me and make me who I am. A quote I made for myself is Never stop living, loving, or dreaming. You will learn more as you continue on this journey
