PEQUITA December-4-1992--July-10-2007
She was 14 1/2 years old and such a faithfull friend all these years to me.Born on December 4,1992,She was a great traveler and love to "BARKUUM".....after we finished eating..She will be missed deeply and by many who knew her.Sleep well my little one.HUGGLES,LOVE YOUR FOREVER MOM....July-10-2007 6 p.m.
This evening my Sweet Pequita has crossed over. I knew she was failing and yesterday her hind legs kept giving out.She panted and paced all day and was just looking for something.I guess she has found it. I went down to do laundry and Jim was out. Pequita had gone out to wet a spot in the new grass, and she was gone an extra long time.I went calling for her and found her sleeping for the last time in the warm evening sun.She graced our lives for fourteen and a half years. She was born on my birthday, and we were ment to be.She was mine from the age of two weeks and went everywhere with us. She was the best traveler and loved to go in the car,she would sleep for hours in the warm car in the spring and fall, even once we arrived home or at the destination. She was a good eater and was always "barkuuming" the floor wheather at our house or some one's we were visiting. She loved nearly everything to eat that was people food and especially toast with lots of butter. When she started failing and loosing weight,we let her have what she wanted and she loved the "baby meats" and would lick the little jar clean as new.I think Gerber could have used her for quality control !!!...But now our little Bug Bug is gone and a light has gone out in our lives.Who will make me smile in the morning just by being there with that sweet little happy face, and tiny pink tongue? Who will keep my floors clean and who will spread long black hair all over everywhere, exspecially "HER" car seat? Who will be my therapist, who listened to all my worries and woes? Who will be my helper when I stayed up nights on "mare stare" with Janie? There is no dog in the world that can take her place. She may have only weighted seven pounds, but she filled a mighty big space in my heart and in others.Gone you may be from our lives, but you will live in our hearts.Sleep well my little Pequita.I will always love you...Huggles...Your Forever Mom
