Pilgrim Haven: About Us

This sites purpose is to provide a place or rest and restoration for spiritual pilgrims. While thinking of some short way to describe the purpose of this site I came upon a definition of spirituality in The Forgotten Desert Mothers by Laura Swan. "Spirituality," Phil Boroughs S.J defines this within the Christian context, "is the experience and the expression of the revelation of God in the Spirit of Jesus, to which the believer lovingly responds in prayer and service as an individual, as a participant in a faith community as a member of the human family within creation."

This site attempts to stay within the framework of the Apostles Creed and bring the pilgrim into a more intimate relationship with Christ.

The Links on this site represent a personal on-line pilgrimage to new places and spiritual treasures, many that were new to mw and may be either very familiar or very new to you also.
