Liz is studio director of The Perth Pilates Studio and a principal educator for Polestar Pilates International. She began her Pilates career in 1993, after studying Pilates to complement her classical dance training.
Liz has worked with a wide variety of clients including dancers from the West Australian Ballet and athletes from the West Australian Institute of Sport.
As an educator for Polestar Pilates International she conducts teacher training programs around the world and gives regular continuing education workshops for organizations such as the Australian Pilates Method Alliance and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Liz has a special interest in Pilates for women's health and in Pilates for dancers and gymnasts. She has pioneered the creation of advanced continuing education programs in both of these fields.
She holds certifications in rehabilitation, studio, mat and allegro Pilates and is also a certified personal trainer and SmartBall rehabilitation practitioner.

Peter has a special interest in Pilates for athletic enhancement and has worked extensively with amateur and professional athletes throughout Perth, including members of the West Australian Football League and athletes from the West Australian Institute of Sport.
Our senior physiotherapist, Cindy Davis, offers private, semi-private and group Pilates classes as well as more traditional physiotherapy treatments. Cindy holds Polestar certifications in rehabilitation and mat Pilates. She is currently completing post-graduate studies in the field of Women's Health.
Lisa has been involved with dance and fitness for over 30 years, having first started classical ballet training at age 3. She then went on to study Spanish, tap and modern/jazz dance and on completion of the Special Dance program at John Curtin Senior High School, Lisa commenced touring internationally with several dance companies before retiring in 1993 due to a knee injury.
It was at this time that Lisa's interest in health and fitness blossomed, and while studying for a BA in Japanese and Asian Studies and a B.Comm in International Business, Lisa completed a fitness leader and gym/aerobics instructor course and began teaching. In 2001, Lisa started studying Pilates under Elizabeth Wilson at The Perth Pilates Studio, and completed in-house teacher training in studio and mat Pilates in that same year.
After the birth of her daughter Sasha in 2002, Lisa commenced further training with Polestar Pilates, and after completing the studio series in 2003, Lisa became a Polestar certified Pilates Practitioner and Mentor.
Lisa is now a senior Pilates practitioner at The Perth Pilates Studio and is dedicated to improving people's lives through Pilates. She has a particular interest in the psychological benefits of Pilates and its effect on reducing anxiety and depression and improving wellness in a holistic sense.
