The natural security of the Island could not have been made better by the hand of Man. The Island is surrounded by a natural reef. The entrance to the harbor took en vars to complete, but the reef there was finally cleared for safe travel of ships into the safe waters of the port. A light house was built at the entrance of the harbor; its light beckons far out into the reaches of the Thassa. A beacon to the Thassa weary traveler.
Once within the port, all ships are docked and boarded by the Island guards, and the Harbor Master or Magistrate.
Papers and cargo are thoroughly searched before any are allowed off to enjoy the pleasure of the Outer Walls of the City.
Along the docks, the weary traveler can find what he is seeking.
The Pour It Inn offers good food and a warm couch for the night.
The Lusty Wench Paga Den holds some of the Island's greatest treasures to warm any man's blood.
The Thassan Clinic boasts the highest grade medical instruments available.
The Warehouses and Merchants Shops are where many come to trade or purchase goods found only on the mainland.
All of these are available along the Outer Walls of the City, as along this venue, a pass need not be granted for trade. It is open to all.
The security though is kept well hidden from prying eyes. Behind the thick walls, lay massive catapults and archer guards, to lay down any that dare attempt to lay siege to so peaceful a place.
Trained sleens roam the islands perimeters during the night, though they are chained during the day light ahns.
The Island itself is a warren of tunnels and holds, all kept a closely guarded secret by the Citizens in case the need ever arises for a hasty escape.
