Stock Photography Resources
Nature Photography Resources

Landscapes, wildlife, and nature make up a very large percentage of stock photography on just about any of the microstock websites. Lately I have been noticing that it is getting harder to get images submitted that are the more commonplace nature and landscape shots.
Creativity and going after a subject from a different angle will increase the odds of having one of these images approved. There are many beautiful landscape and macro nature shots so yours will have stand out above the others to get accepted.
The technical aspects of the photo need to right-on also, or the image will be rejected before the composition is even considered. Of course, if you have that one of a kind, very unique shot that cannot be recaptured, sometimes a small technical aspect will not be a problem.
The links that I have posted on this page are mainly from nature and landscape sites and photographers who are masters in their field. The images are top quality, and the websites have some great tips and information for the nature photographer.
NatureScapes is a great nature photography resource with many tips and articles. They have beautiful galleries full of wildlife, landscapes, flora, and macro images.
Nature Photographers Online Magazine is a website that focuses on the art and technique of nature photography, as well as the use of photography for habitat conservation. It is also the official home of the Nature Photographer Network (NPN).Kleptography
is a beautiful website put together by Don Ellis. All of the images on this site - there are over 900 - are all shot with a point and shoot 3.3 megapixel Canon camera. This is proof that it doesn't take expensive equipment to capture incredible images but the knowledge, skill, and eye of the person holding the camera. Marc Adamus Photography
"His style is one of big, bold, dramatic and dynamic images utilizing
wide angles and amazing light. He will stop at nothing to capture an
image that defines a place at it's most magical moment." This quote is taken directly from his website. His landscape photography is amazing and he has received many well deserved international awards for his work. National Geographic speaks for itself. There are not many photo tips or resources on this site, but the photography has always been of the highest quality. A great site to browse the images and of course to read an interesting nature article or two.
