Comparing Digital Cameras

Your camera is your tool and your knowledge of using it will determine how well you do in the microstock photography world.

The best thing you can do is read your manual from cover to cover and test over and over again the settings, functions, and shooting conditions until it all becomes second nature to you.

In the Digital Camera world there are two classifications of cameras:  the point-and-shoot style and the DSLR - Digital Single Lens Reflex style.

The functions, prices, and specifications of each camera will determine what brand or size you will choose, but what it all comes down to, is how well you use your camera, not the kind or type that it is.  Your knowledge of your camera, your photography skills, and how you use the light, are the true tools for composing and improving your images.

There are way too many cameras in the market to even begin listing the pros and cons of each type, but if you go to
Image Resource Comparometer
you can compare images taken from different cameras.  Kind of interesting to compare what you might already be using for a camera with one you might like to purchase.

To read a review of any type of digital camera a good place to start is Steve's Digicams.  They add new reviews daily and they also have the latest news on breaking technology.  This site contains a wealth of information, reviews, and opinions
