child support arrearages. He needs to be home with his ailing mother
and his ex wife does not need the child support but is only taking
advantage of the current law that does not allow a judge to eliminate
arrearages. John is injured from a fall and was receiving workers
compensation and the judge convinced him to sign off for final
payment before he was better, and then the judge took the money for
arrears. John's own attorney claimed to the judge that he had no
reason to not be in court last September when John had faxed his
attorney with a doctors statement that he would not be able to attend
court that day. The judge proclaimed that the next time John came to
court he would put him in jail. John is due in court tomorrow and
does have a doctors statement (I am told) which verifies his injuries
