House-stealing, posted Oct. 21, 2003
|
A new yahoogroup in support of Dottie Lafortune has been set up at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dottielafortune/
Since many conversations will be expected to occur around protecting her home and this is very urgent, we decided to form a yahoogroup about this case to keep all the discussions off the phone tree. I think this is more appropriate, but phone tree members and others from other groups are very much encouraged to join in this organization and action group.
Please advertise this group! We need wide publicity and to coordinate ideas.
Please join us to organize around preventing the stealing of Dottie's house by joining the group. This is URGENT! She may lose her home any day and be hauled off in handcuffs! She needs people to contact her and the people below and make a noise about this. People in Maine who are able to show up with signs, etc. would be very helpful. Let's get Maine to do what Florida did for Terri Schiavo when the Governor was allowed to intervene by the Senate passing an emergency bill. Property grabbing is rampant in this country and causes homelessness, health issues, and criminalizes innocent people. We must stand together against this and protect our homes! Dottie is also running for city council and the powers that be want to shut down her 1st amendment rights and have already banned her cable TV program: "The Maine Forum" for being controversial. Dottie also used a promissory note and wants this case to be used for all who have lost their homes or who are losing their homes in America. There is much behind the scenes here including misreporting by the media making Dottie out to be the bad guy, denial of due process, a higher court that upheld a lower courts void order and other nasty politics behind the scenes.
Learn about this case and see how easily and practiced the crooks are at stealing our homes! This should be a landmark case to be used by others in this country. With public pressure we can make a difference and stop this from happening. Let's help Dottie and keep her safe from the thugs with guns, handcuffs, etc. and come to her assistance to stop this unlawful gang-up.

Suz, Contacts to me: phone # (207)283-3130; e-mail: pcastora@xpressamerica.net
People can contact our governor, John Baldacci, and Mark Lawrence, our County D.A., whom I am corresponding with regarding illegal activity within the State of Maine (am currently putting together evidence for the D.A.'s office, as requested, which I am supposed to keep confidential and personal.)
Contacts:
Governor John Baldacci: (207)287-3531 Mark Lawrence, York County District Atty. (207)324-8001; fax (207)490- 6990
I don't know anything about putting together a "yahoo group", if you can be of help in this area, I sincerely appreciate it.
I'm also excited about "Terri' Bill". I've e-mailed to a couple of Maine's legislative representatives about this issue and asked why Maine Legislature cannot follow Florida's representation. Will send separately.

Why doesn't Maine's legislature hold a special session on my situation? If Florida can do it, so can Maine!
