I couldn’t believe that no body has written about the simple tips to optimizing your Craigslist postings. I had to check with yahoo’s monthly search volume tool to see what people our typing in.

 

You have 1,706,716 people typed in “Craigslist”. Then you have 145 people looking for a “Craigslist posting tool” to help make it easier to post on multiple sites for the frustrated now 60 people looking for “Craigslist posting”. But lets get back to the facts, why wouldn’t you want to optimize your Craigslist postings for the 1.7 million people looking for Craigslist in search engines and the 10 million people that visit Craiglist each month?

 

So we know there is a market and that people are looking for a way to post. That is why I’ve put together this Craigslist optimization tips article. As a calling card affiliate program manager, I wanted to help my future phone card affiliate partners with ways on how to find your Craigslist niche. I hope this article gives you’re the Craigslist posting tools for high search engine rankings to compete with the 8 million posts that Craigslist gets each month.

You first need to think of where the traffic is going so that you can stand out from the other 8 million postings. So first think of posting in the top traffic sections being: 1) jobs 2) housing 3) for sale 4) personals 5) forums.  Then you need to build a system to stay on top of the rankings by editing you’re posting on a daily basis or changing your postings daily so that you stay on top of the search pages. Yes, we always advocate “smart listing” within the craigslist system. We training our clients how to add listings and hyperlink their listing to their websites. We also train on how to use the self reporting system and how to respect craigslist and its rules. It is very standard for us to tell our clients to use craigslist within the rules or you guys would begin charging.

We see what you are doing as helpful for our clients and see it as a great tool for them. We even have training sessions specific to craigslist that we run for our Realtors. We do these at no charge and no real benefit to us. We are here to not only provide a website solution to Realtors but more importantly to educate our Realtors on the internet.

Learn how to take craigslist to the limit to our clients means learn how to hyperlink, bold text, etc.
