Joaquin Pheonix, nominated for best actor (Walk the Line) was at a loss for words as he prepared his statement. "Waking up this early made me reminisce about being a kid, waking up early to beat traffic, so my siblings and I could make it to auditions. In all those long car rides, I never thought about awards for acting (I didn't know they existed). I was an actor because the work was rewarding. I never imagined that it would all lead to this moment. I don't possess the vocabulary to accurately express the sense of gratitude I feel for this great honor. It's made the entire journey more fulfilling than I ever expected." —K.T

Unfortunatly as some of you know, Joaquin was involved in a car accident on thursday. The car accident was pretty bad but Joaquin reportedly only has 'minor injuriese' and is doing fine. The breaks on his car failed to operate. All our prayers are with Joaquin to ensure that he stays safe in the future. There is an article in the News section you can read about the car accident. If you have any news about Joaquin that you would like to be posted feel free to email Lauren. Thanks to all that emailed me to let me know about the car accident. Ive been busy busy busy working on the site. New pages have been complete, they are, Avatars, FanArt, Guestbook, and Pictures. Go check out the picture page, I've added a bunch of Joaquin pictures from the 2006 Golden Globes. We are also now listed in the Gliiter Network. Working on others aswell. A bunch of linkback buttons have been made and you can see them on the linkage section of the site under LinkBacks. Still working on some other pages. I hope you enjoy whats new! -Lauren

As you can see all the index pages are done. The Linkage page is complete, that includes Affiliates, JP Related Sites, Listed, and Link Back pages. Go check them out. We have 3 new affiliates, Looking For JP, Will Ferrell, and Joaquin-Phoenix. More pages are being made everyday and soon the site will be complete. Untill then enjoy whats here already. -Lauren

Well the Joaquin page is done. WHEW!! The biography,filmography,quotes, and award pages are done aswell. Check them out and let me know what you think. Next on the agenda is the Media section of the site. We have already have gotten som affiliate requests. Unfortunatly the page is not up yet so you wont be able to see them yet, but you will soon!! CONGRATS TO JOAQUIN!!! Congragulations to Walk The Line for thier outstanding win last night at the GOlden Globes!! Joaquin won Best Actor in a Musical/Comedy. Reese won Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy. Walk The Line won Best Motion Picture Musical/Comedy. Congrats to everyone who worked on Walk The Line!! -Lauren

Hey everyone!! I've been fooling around with the layout, trying to get it to look how i wish it will look. I still havnt been able to get any thing else done. The News, Joaquin, Fan, Media pages are currently in the process of being made. Please be patient. Im trying my hardest to get this site up and running as best as it can be. Im also looking in to fan-sites.org to see if they might want to host us, or im looking for a better server, mabey we can even get our own domain.. Thats all for now! -Lauren
