May 18th-19th -- Friday & Saturday (Blue Jays @ Phillies)

Lets make a long story short... Friday no one signed at the stadium but at the hotel Thomas Vernon and Halladay signed so we went to the hotel on saturday but not the game... I got Vernon on a bat ... and surprisingly AJ Burnett on a SS ball.... i have heard he is one of the hardest signers ever since he was traded off the Marlins. Well he was really nice and made sure we all got our stuff signed and SS everything.

Next up on June 2nd versus San Fran...might go for Zito...but Citizens Bank Park is hard to get pitchers...i prob will just go to the game maybe try to get there and get utley on a bat.

May 12th- Saturday (Cubs @ Phillies)

It was a 3:45 game and got there 2 ½ hours before for BP… as soon as we go in I went over to the bullpen where some pitcher and Zambrano were throwing a bullpen session…Lou Pinella was there also but didnt sign. After the session Carlos signed again!! Yea you heard it right and this time I got Zambrano SS OMLB (this auto wasnt as good as the first... the long line he makes made the C look closed where as the other one you can see the C better) I was already happy and then we went down to the dugout. Unfortunatly no BP. There were the other pitchers throwing on the field but no position players. My friend got some other ppl like Ted Lilly but I had nothing for these people. When the players came to strech Soriano ran right in…just as Aramis… but some chick had a big sign for Derrick Lee. He looked over and pointed a finger like “one minute” so we all got around her. He then came over and signed her ball SS and then signed my bros card and 3 more then he got to me… I got Derrick Lee SP OMLB … he didn’t sign any other SS. All together he signed about 10. The game had a rain delay, then started again, then rained and didn’t stay after. So this was another great day… Zambrano and Lee. These were some of my better 2 days.

Next team up is hopefully Friday and Saturday the 18^th and 19^th versus Tornonto Blue Jays… sucks because BJ Ryan and Halladay are out and I have Frank Thomas but I’m mainly going for Vernon, Rios, Burnett and Glaus if he’s there. Rios and Burnett are really hard i heard but we will see.

May 11th- Friday (Cubs @ Phillies)

Ok so I leave after school and get there around 5:15 and line up by the rope so I can run down to the dugout. BP was going on when Aramis Ramirez walks in a signed one for a kid who tossed some dirty brow BP ball. That was the only autograph signed before the game…besides these 3 like 8 yr olds with their parents, triplets. They had the field passes, they got Lee, Soriano, and Aramis. But no other fans got any autos. So I decide we would stay to see if anyone signed after. Well after Soriano came out but sat around for like 20 mins then hopped on the bus when it left. Zambrano actually was waiting 20 mins for a cab and he actually came over to sign after some begging haha…I heard he is one of the hardest people to get and I was shocked that he signed and didn’t ask for a SS, b/c I have heard horror stories where stars have just handed the ball back or Jeter one time wrote NO on the SS and handed it back. But I got Zambrano SP OMLB I was pretty happy and surprised about that one. So all the Cubs left so I went over to the Phillies side. Cole Hamels got the win and when he drove out he pulled over on the side of the road and signed for everyone… I got Cole on an8x10 and my opinion it came out perfect. I asked to write MLB Debut but he declined. After that there was one player worth waiting for who didn’t come out…Howard. So when he drives out he all of a sudden pulls over…something he never does…it seemed as if he knew someone there, some white guy and his son. Well everyone was down in the bushes (the phillies have an under ground lot and you can go down this little incline to get to it) and Howard signed about 10…I got Howard SP OMLB (batting practice ball)… this was a ball he hit that got thrown to me. I am kind of glad because he signed everything in black sharpie and a new ball woulda came out bad. So this night actually went from bad…before the game… to a solid night… Zambrano, Hamels, and Howard.
