Welcome to the Pheasant Inn. Located on beautiful Lake Mason. The Pheasant Inn has been a part of our family for over 40 years. The Inn dates back to the 1800's, used as a trading post for the Menomonee Indians. Lake Mason was only a creek, that the Indians would canoe through. Once the creek was dammed & the lake was formed, the Inn was called "The Lake House". To everyone's dismay,..the livery behind the Lake House caught fire & both structures burned to the ground. In 1912 the block structure, which still stands today was erected. The upper level served as a hotel until the late 1940's
Today...The Pheasant Inn is a year' round resort nestled in on beautiful Lake Mason. Serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. We do all our own baking, homemade pies, sweet rolls & bread. Housekeeping cottages for an enjoyable stay. The Inn has so much to offer: breathtaking lake view sunsets, waterskiing & excellent fishing. Winter fun too with snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing & fall hunting. All this in a quiet little town, only 10 minutes from the famous Wisconsin Dells.
