History of Phantom Hollow

        

We try to be honest to everyone whether it is another breeder in which we are looking to aquire our next champion, or a puppy buyer looking to add to their growing family. Of course things do come up in the breed and we have no control over them. Here at Phantom Hollow we strive to preserve the breed and will not willingly breed to, buy, or sell a puppy or adult that has a hereditary, congenital, or disqualification per the standard. We stand behind our dogs and try to cover all health clearances before we make our decisions. If god forbid a problem does arrise, we will do everything possible to correct it. We hope that our future is bright and that we can help for yours to be as well.

Our family consist of myself, my husband Kevin my son Hunter and my daughter Logan. We live in the beautiful sierra foothills of California. We have been in the Akita breed now for over 15 years. We started like most, falling in love with a puffball and not really knowing what an impact it would have on our lives. We have been actively showing now for over 7 years. Although we are primarily into showing, We will never forget the pets that got us where we are today.

This is my son Hunter (12/18/98)and daughter Logan (07/11/07). Although Hunter was only 4 years old, he couldn't wait to hit the ring. Logan I am sure will take after big brother too just as soon as she can walk. They are active in everything we do with the dogs. We look forward to the day they will show their own puppies in the ring.
