Everyone is welcome to the Art Zone Studios in Toronto to attend Miss G's power pact workshop called "The Ultimate Vocal Performance" where she will teach some of the best and most trusted techniques of the stars to make you the best singer and performer you can be!

WORKSHOP CURRICULUM:  

The Art Zone studios is a quaint and intimate environment, where Miss G will teach her proficient and specialized techniques in a fun and power pact two hour session that will put you in the right direction for your vocal performance.  Here are some of the topics she will be covering in her master training workshop:

Miss G has walked the walk....

That is the difference between her and many other vocal and performance teachers. She is not just a teacher who talks about putting on a good performance by just music study, but most importantly she has lived the life of a performer and artist for over 16 years. She has performed in Rock Bands, R&B groups, Music Theatre productions, recorded in major studios, danced, acted, been in numerous choirs, festivals, benefit concerts and talent shows. In order to be a successful vocal teacher and performance coach you cannot teach something you do not know. Riding a bicycle is very different from reading about it through an instruction manuel. She has overcome the same insecurities and obstacles that every singer has experienced and knows what you are thinking and feeling on a very personal level. That is why she can instinctively use her experience, study and training to take you further towards your journey because she has walked that road herself. As a solo vocalist she has performed in front of thousands of people from week to week as well as to small intimate crowds. She has performed for some of the greats like Quincy Jones and Elton John. She has performed with Speech from Grammy award winners Arrested Development, sang and recorded with multi-Juno award winner Liberty Silver and has worked with Grammy nominated recording artist Jill Scott. In addition, she has performed internationally and in Toronto at Roy Thompson Hall, CNE, Massy Hall, the Hummingbird Centre and the Metro Convention Center. She understands the pressure and knows the secret techniques to deliver the ultimate performance.

Miss G has recorded and worked with top Toronto, New York, London and L.A. producers that have recorded for Brandy, Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Liberty Silver, James Brown and Mary J. Blige. With this experience, Miss G is now owner and C.E.O of her own independent record label and Entertainment Company called PG Productions. She has also been involved with many charitable groups and has organized various successful fundraisers and talent shows. Some of her performers have gone on to have successful careers appearing in such feature films as Honey, music videos and working for successful artists like Missy Elliot, Keisha Chante and Julie Black.

In addition, Miss G is an actress and member of the ACTRA union, her credits include national Canadian and American Commercials and appeared in feature films.

A University of Toronto graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, Miss G has 16 years of either formal or private study of Classical, Jazz, Gospel and R&B, Adult Contemporary, Blues and Pop. This also gives her an edge in her vocal and performance program because she has skillfully taken hold of each music genre and is able to teach students with different vocal styles.  In addition, she is also able to teach large groups of people at one time while being able to focus in on one student. She demonstrates this on a weekly basis as she is the head vocal coach of 40 students at The Neshama Theatre Troupe which is a music theatre organization catering to the artistic needs of the community. She is also the head Vocal and Performance Instructor for PACTROCKS, a music program sponsored by the Argo's and the government. It is a successful music program for youth in Toronto who are in conflict with the law (either on probation, facing a community service order, or just in need of a connection through music). This year she will be the Choir Director for the Power of One Choir that will have 250 members for a film presentation. In addition, she is currently working on her second album, directing another benefit concert  which will be a TV documentary called "Higher Ground".
