PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
Could you imagine the thought of a world without meat, milk or eggs? That would mean no hamburgers, tacos, steaks, cheese, bacon, or anything that tastes good! While they're at it, why not also get rid of leather, pets, circuses, and nearly all medical research? That horrifying prospect is the ultimate goal of PETA. Sounds scary, doesn't it? By the way, this is also the group that likes to send women to protest naked, compare animal farming with the Holocaust, lie about your digestive system, and support terrorists.
PCRM - Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
What images does a name like "Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine" conjure up? A trustworthy source of medical advice? Protectors of public health? The PCRM is really an extreme animal rights organization, disguised as a medical advice group, and less than 5 percent of its members are physicians at all!. They want to remove all animal products from our diet and turn us all into vegans. They are in bed with groups such as PETA and HSUS. If you want good medical advice, don't listen to the PCRM!
HSUS - Humane Society of the United States
The organization's name may make you think of animal shelters, but the HSUS doesn't operate a single one! Rather, they are an animal rights group which seeks to defame hunting, prevent meat-eating, and get rid of medical research. And they get huge amounts of money from donations from people who think it's just an animal shelter group! If you want to help animals, donate to your local humane society; they need the money more than the HSUS does.
American Heart Association
Have you seen those labels on the side of cereal boxes with the heart and the check-mark, that say "This product meets the cholesterol and saturated fat guidelines for healthy people over age 2"? The cereal companies pay thousands of dollars a month for the right to use those labels. That's one of the major ways the AHA makes money! That, and also all the donations and government money they receive. They're the ones who are trying to make us believe that saturated fat and cholesterol are bad. For more information, see my page on the
Lipid Hypothesis. In a nutshell, the AHA is responsible for plunging the US into it's current health crisis.
