Welcome to PETPI
Welcome to People Embracing their Predatory Instincts! Are you sick and tired of being harassed by animal rights activists and "health" nuts? Do you just want to enjoy your hamburger or steak without some 14 year old girl crying about the cow that got killed or some food police shouting about the saturated fat and cholesterol content? Then you've come to the right place. Of course, SOME animal rights crazies might cry about this website, and about how I'm so "cruel" to the animals, but as the information contained herein will show, their beliefs are highly erroneous.
The Basis of Animal Rights
Animal rights arguments are generally based on these two premises:
1: All animals are created equal. They have the same rights and deserve the same consideration we do.
2: We are morally prohibited from "exploiting" animals for our own uses, such as for food, entertainment, or clothing.
These premises contradict each other. If number 1 was true, and all animals had equal rights, then we would have every bit as much right to eat meat as any carnivorous animal does. Animals exploit each other all the time. Therefore, if they had equal rights, we'd have the right to exploit the animals.
If number 2 was true, and we couldn't use animals for our own benefit, then we would not be equal to the other animals, since they could exploit each other. Thus, if you are an animal rightist, you must choose one premise; you can't have it both ways.
