....I will definitely let you know so and even try to help you find someone who can do it for you for less or who for any reason is a better match if we find out we are not a good match.
Just like the Santa on Miracle on 34th street your children or in my case your furry children's happiness is more important to me than money.
I have references from both, clients whose furry family members I do currently help raise and take care of and those whom I referred to someone else whom they are very happy with. I also am able to use an animal control officer as one of my referrals. I will give you references upon request, which includes craigslist clients in both cases. I also have permission from a great animal controll officer who was recently nominated to be one of Americas Most Wanted Heroes to use him as a reference. I will give potential petsitting families my references up on request.

My experience: I have volunteered at the Irvine Animal Care Center for 4-5 years. They trained me very extensively. I am one of the few volunteers allowed to work with all species and most pets. I attend all their workshops and trainings and will continue to do so forever. I am part of their buddy system which means I train other volunteers. I have trained some of their interns and a group of their newer staff in the past when the current staff at the time was too busy.
I still volunteer there at least once a week and am part of a group which helps with less adoptable dogs either because they need more exposure or they need more training and no they are not pit bulls.
I do love pit bulls (and other bully breeds) but play with them on my own time or a lot when it gets closer to National Pit bull Awareness Day which falls on Oct 23th this year. At the moment other breeds need the extra training and exposure more.
I also am learning to be a dog trainer. I know almost as much as the experts do, but haven't graduated yet, which is why I can pass the savings on to you. Once I graduate my rates will go up for new clients. For current clients at ( who are current at that time) in exchange for keeping you at my old rates I would like your honest referral.
I love and work with all sizes and almost all breeds. I haven't had any experience with wolf hybrids yet, which is why if you have one I will pet sit for you for free for a while in exchange for training if you live close to me.

My philosophy on breeds and dog sitting: I think with the right pet parents and right pet sitter any breed and any dog/pet is a joy to sit for even if the right pet sitter is not always me. I love all breeds, all pets. I welcome and love the opportunity to spent time with everyone.
I make sure we are a good match by meeting you and your pets. If we are a good match, I pet sit for you when you need or want me. If we are not a great match, I will refer you to others. Even if we are a great match there is no obligation to hire me. There are a lot of great pet sitters out there and if you do hire me I will be very honored,but if someone else is better for your budget or for your pets for any reason, by all means hire them. Your pets come first. I believe the pets should have a say in choosing their petsitter,which is why I let them come to me during our meeting. Also, I treat each pet as an individual.

My fees: $5-$25 per visit. I charge most people $10.00- $15.
I charge based on how much time and gas it takes me to get to you.
Everyone in Lake Forest will be charged $10.00 a visit unless you
live in my culdesac, than its less.
Other South OC cities or parts of most South OC cities are slightly more.
It is very rare that I charge someone $20.00 -$25.00 a visit. You would have to live
quite a distance from me and if I have to charge more than $25.00 a visit
I will refer you to someone else closer to your area.
I don't charge per pet. During holidays I have more time
which is why I will give most families holiday discounts.

What does my fee include:

Dogs
A minimum of 30 min walk unless you tell me your dogs don't like to walk that long.
We follow your instructions for the walk.
Clean up on the walk and cleaning feces of your yard or patio and accidents in your home
Playing and /or cuddling when we get home from the walk.
Feeding and watering to your specification.
Can also work on some basic training for dogs of all ages including puppies and older dogs.
Giving most medication or put on cream including sunscreen.
Bathe if asked to in most cases.
Take to your vet in an emergency.
If you live very close to a park and tell me your dogs get along with others and have been at the park before I will be glad to take them there as well.
Am available for regular walks/sitting,vacation walks/sitting and
sometimes can be on call, will only charge if you use me.
Will sit for almost all personalities,can sit for slightly animal and/or dog aggressive dogs
but cant for human aggressive dogs.
Sorry but with schools and training I cant devote my time and energy to human aggressive dogs during the school year but will be happy to get to know your pooch in the summer. Will walk and pet sit for all other personalities all year.
Other than human aggressive pets, even pets who take a long time to warm up to most people
seem to warm up to me rather quickly.

Cats
walk on a cat leash or play in cat tunnel in yard.
Play inside the house and/or cuddle.
Clean out litter box
Feed and water per your instructions.
Give most medication.
I am available for regular sitting or walking or both
and for vacation sitting.

Will cut up vegetables for them

Multiple species
I will do all the above at no extra charge since it is still the same family.

Other services
while you are on vacation or at work I can also
bring in the mail
water plants
bring in the newspaper
bring in the trash container after trash pickup.
There is no extra charge for these services as
you would do them if you were home.

Here is what I need from you
1. honesty about your pets personality so I can best know how to approach your pet. Also honesty about your pets health. I love pet sitting for healthy and sick pets but want to take precautions not to spread anything before going to my next family including my own.
2. your willingness to meet with me before we work with each other. Because this is the internet I will bring a family member to the first meeting and you are welcome to do the same. There is no charge for this meeting and there is no obligation to hire me and vs.
3.For your pets rabies shots to be up to date and if there is an epidemic for your pet to be up to date on the vaccine for that epidemic.

Availability 

Since my daily families have moved out of state I currently only have one biweekly family who uses me in addition to vaccations. I see them every tue and th morning from 8 am or 9 am depending on the wheather. They also use me during the day when they go on vaccation. Other than this I have several families who use me for vaccations so currently I am not available for Dec 20th-dec 24th unless you are one of my daily or weekly or biweekly or similar families or live close to one of the current families using me at this time. For the rest of Dec depending on when I have 1-2 oppenings. If you are one of my current families feel free to sign the guest book as I just started this website recently. Summer in general
I do have my regulars I sit for in the summer, I sit for one family almost all summer on and off
and the rest are just part of the summer, so I will probably have some room in between.
I do not put you on my calender until we meet,found  out we are a good match and you are sure that you
want someone for certain dates. If you are not sure, I will put you on my calender as tenative and email you
if someone who is sure wants those exact dates.
A few of my regular vacation families moved so I do have some room for the summer as of now.

I also have summer families who go on 3-4 vaccations in the summer and some who go on buisness trips, but any date not listed above is currently op en for up to 3 families. I do not take more than that since I want to give everyone quality and quantitiy of time and attention and I also have my bi weekly families. If I get more families who want me while they work I may reduce the number of families I accept for vaccations(depending on how many families need me while they work) except those I already booked and know will contact me closer to summer.
