Welcome to our Farm. In 2002 we were finally able to achieve our lifelong dream of owning our own farm. After years of leasing other places, and not having our horses out in our own backyard, we bought a small 20 acre hobby farm on which we keep our beloved Paso Fino's, our dogs Lilly and Sheeba and our cats Oreo and Winston.
Mistico LaCE is our main farm stud. Mistico has taught us more about Paso's and how amazing they are since we purchased him in 2001, than we could have learned in 20 or more years! Mistico was shown in his early days and reached the Nationals a few times. He is a magnificent example of the Paso Fino Horse. People friendly, majestic to ride and watch, and a delite to own. All of which he seems to pass off to his offspring.
Prior to purchasing Mistico we already owned some of his progeny, a black filly Medi, who was shown in a small number of shows in her 3 year old training year. She qualified for the Nationals, unfortunately we were unable to take her. Also a gorgeous buckskin colt named Mist. So, when Mistico became available, we jumped at the chance to get him knowing what lovely babies he made.
Since then we have had many more babies by him and also used the Buckskin colt Mist, as a stud and got five babies from him. All of which are just a joy to own and watch grow up.
At 25 years of age we don't know how much longer we will have him, but boy do we feel privileged to have had him as our farm stud. We don't know how many other direct sons of Mar de Plata are still around but the fact that Mistico is, says something about his lineage. Love you Mistico!!!!!!
