This book was accepted in 1970 as a dissertation presented to Westminster Theological Seminary in partial fulfillment of the requiremets of the degree of Doctor of Theology.  The original title of the dissertation was "The Idea of Religious Transcendence in the philosophy of Herman Dooyeweerd, with reference to its significance for Reformed Theology."
