20/06/05 - Frankie Poullain (bass player of The Darkness) has left the band and has now been replaced by Dan Hawkins' guitar tech called Richie Edwards!

27/05/05 - Hi everyone - Thanks for voting! The Long Road Of Nickelback has won the Best Overall Award at the Confucious Web Awards! Go visit the Confucious Web Awards Winners Page and scroll down to the Best Overall Award! This award means so much to me, because it is my first Web Award and the first time I was nominated for a Web Award, too! Voting is most likely to start sometime in June for Confucious Web Awards: Season 11, so I hope you all vote as you did for the Best Overall Category, as there is a chance I may be entered into more categories for Season 11, as I have nominated The Long Road Of Nickelback earlier than I did for Season 10. In other site news, The Long Road Of Nickelback is now linked at RoadRunnerRecords USA and VH1.com! So to sum it all up - It's been a great week for The Long Road Of Nickelback series! 

21/05/05 -  21st 2005 - Voting at the Confucious Web Awards is confirmed to finish this Monday, so if you haven't voted in the Best Overall category for The Long Road Of Nickelback yet, then do it very soon, please!

17/05/05 - The voting for the Confucious Web Awards has begun! The Long Road Of Nickelback is nominated in the Best Overall category, and I plead that you all go and vote for it, because without the votes, it's impossible for me to win this award - Think of all the effort I have put into these websites & the MSN Groups, this would be a huge favour in return. Terms of voting insist that you must vote in every category, or your vote will not be included. At the top of the Voting Form you have to leave your name and your e-mail address. At the bottom of Confucious Web Awards, there are links to each part of the site Rules, etc, click on Vote.

10/05/05 - The Long Road Of Nickelback has finally been nominated in the Best Overall category at the Confucious Web Awards! Voting starts very soon, and I will make sure that you know when it does.

06/11/04 - On November 8th, The Darkness will release their first download-only single! The single is a rehash of Get Your Hands Off My Woman, but this time it's called Get Your Hands Off My Woman...Again! The track will be sold for 99p (or £1.50 via SMS) as a Windows Media Audio 9 file! Click here for more details!

18/09/04 - The Darkness won 2 awards at the Kerrang! Awards for Best British Band and Best Live Band! The Darkness beat heavyweights such as The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Slipknot and Nickelback to win the award of Best Live Band! I have to admit though, I think Nickelback are better playing live, although I will consider going to see The Darkness sometime this year on their upcoming UK Tour starting this November 24th!

24/08/04 - Germans can't get enough of The Darkness right now! Permission To Land is flying up the charts across Germany after The Darkness played at FM4 Frequency Festival in Salzburg, Austria on August 13th; Taubertal Festival in Germany on August 14th; and a sold-out crowd at Highfield Festival in Hohenfelden in Germany on August 15th!

07/08/04 - Justin Hawkins recently bought a Jaguar XKR Coupe worth £60,000! Unlucky Justin woke up Wednesday morning to find that the expensive alloy wheels had been stolen, and his new car was now on bricks! Read the full story here!
