LOVE MATCH is the main product of SD & M Publishing. It was born from the minds of three enigmatic and adventurous young people. Young but seasoned entrepreneur Samuel Napala and his wife Dalisay have been in the packaging business for the past eight(8) years already but Sam's family had been in it for almost twenty-five years now. Together with a new partner, Evelyn May Guinid, who is a published author by the pen name of Eve Montelibano, founded SD & M Publishing (SD denotes Samuel and Dalisay, M denotes May)while munching Doritos in a local coffee shop. It was an ambitious and out of this world idea because Mindanao had never been the home of publishers, or even the greatest writers. But this is a fervent dream for these people who consider difficulties as mere challenges for bigger horizons to conquer. In this modern age of computers and with the advent of the Internet, nothing is impossible. Geography is no longer a hindrance in communication.

Sam, who's family owns the Crown Bookstore chain in South Cotabato and General Santos City feels that the publishing industry in the Philippines had barely covered its true potentials. May, as a writer agrees with this and believes that this country is full of talented writers, artists just waiting for more avenues in which they could express and further hone their craft.

It is the main objective of SD & M Publishing to be able to tap these people, help them realize their true potentials and thereby providing jobs for  Filipinos who would like to make a productive and decent living. SD & M aims for top quality romance books that Filipinos can truly be proud of, even to the rest of the world.

SD & M Publishing is based in General Santos City in Mindanao. Mindanao is a magical land, raw, untamed, exotic, wildly exciting and forever making headlines. Its people are a blend of passionate, courageous and loyal folks, maybe too loyal for their own good, but always in pursuit of the goodness in life. Mindanao's culture is rich in history, constantly evolving, even turbulent and oftentimes romanticized by the media in epic proportions, but those are only a small part of the mystique surrounding this beauitiful island and its inhabitants. The real mystery lies within the hearts of every Mindanaon, the fire that burns inside us that quests for the the greater glory of mankind.
