The area contains some of the most impressive castles in Wales with the Normans building a whole series of magnificent fortresses.

Per Ardua bed and breakfast is in the pretty coastal village of Freshwater East which is within the Pembrokeshire National Park. Freshwater East Beach lies below Per Ardua just a short walk through the dunes. The local pub serves meals and real ales and is just a short stroll away.
