The fourth of July fireworks boomed,as if signaling the beginning of summer. I Always queued the fourth of july as the symbol of summer. Summer school students did not have to attend school on july 3rd due to the holiday. Although the fourth of july is a wonderful holiday, the carnivals and the booming of fireworks have never arose my interest. Instead of going to the local fair, i stayed home. My family had a small BBQ and pool party reserved for our extended family and friends. The carne asada was delicious, and the splashing of water was refreshing. I must admit that this fourth of july has been a rather fun one, compared to my other experiences. I spent the day today tending to a stray pigeon i had found four weeks ago. She is quite the beauty. Besides that, i found myself reading The Portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. The book is part of my homework to do over the summer for English honor's. Although it is homework, the book is really great. The only part I loath in doing this, is taking notes of the book. Ugh.
I also have a question for all of you reading my blog. Does anyone have the nintendo DS game Animal crossing:wild world? The game has been a source of entertainment for me for the past few weeks. It's really fun.
