CLWB PEL-DROED PENRHYNCOCH FOOTBALL CLUB

Gavin Allen(31) - Second full season as manager.Represented Wales at under 21 level.Has a great goalscoring record in the league of wales scoring 113 goals in 255 appearances for Aberystwyth, Caernarfon, Carmarthen, Barry and Bangor.

Richard Morgan(29) - Highly rated keeper, signed from local rivals Aberystwyth in January. Richard is well known for his comitment and effort in matches and always give his all for the team.

Toby Spain(20) - Back to full fitness after breaking his leg. Signed this year from Aberystwyth. Played Cymru Alliance two seasons ago whilst still a youth player. Has matured into a very good keeper.  

Dave Gregory(32) - Played last four season with Spar Mid Wales side Llanidloes. Started his playing days with Penrhyncoch 3rds before his move east.

Joe Sherwood(24) - A very hardworking player in who can play in a number of positions. Has a fantastic attitude and respect for his team mates,very popular character within the squad and always gives his all.

Iwan Roberts(33)- Enthusistic competitor with vast experience in this league.Has played for both Penrhyncoch and Aberystwyth Town in the past and is a well respected player in the area.

Martin Naughton(21) - Cool, hard working defender/midfielder who is good on the floor and calm under pressure. Is still young but is playing far beyond his age and has adopted very well to the physical game in the Cymru Alliance.

Mark Egan(25) - Penrhyncoch through and through, has progressed through the Penrhyncoch 3rd and reserve team to move into the 1st team. Had 2 seasons with Aberystwyth reserves before returning to Cae Baker where he has remained ever since. Mark is a very strong player who can play at either centre half or right back. Very good in the air and making long runs forward.

Elwyn Edwards(21)- Player who was in the third team last year and has progressed enourmously. Strong tackling centre half and also good in the air. Recovering from a broken ankle in pre season and is a vital part of the 1st team squad.

Dylan James(26)- Product of the youth system and born and bred in the village. Has converted from being a forward to left back where he has shown great potential. Gifted left foot and will sure to feature in many games this season.

James Shields(22) - Defender, who has progressed through the Aberystwyth academy and reserve setup. Second full season for the team, last year's player of the year. He is still a very young player but looks very experienced on the pitch showing great ball playing ability and the strength needed in the Cymru Alliance. We look forward to seeeing him shine again this season.

Llyr Hughes(26) - One of the experienced members of the squad, has been with Aberystwyth Town and Penrhyncoch since he was a youth and has had Welsh Schoolboy caps. Brings a good stability to the defence who look very solid when he is involved. Very good in the tackle and in the air and can always be used as an emergancy goalkeeper when called upon.

Ashley Stephens(18)- Another product of Penrhyn's youth set up. Strong, determind character who will be a definate regular in years to come. Has not yet found his strongest position on the field and is very versitile.
