It’s one of the largest misconceptions with Weight Watchers
If you eat more then one serving in one setting add it and calculate it.
0+0 = 0
1+1+1 = 3
YOU should NEVER assume
0+0 = 0
1+1+1 = 3
It doesn’t always work that way with WW points
Trust me if you think this way you are NOT alone...
Everything will add up to points eventually.
You have to take into consideration that everything changes the calories, fat and fiber
The more you eat the more calories, fat and fiber you are eating too.
See examples below
Like with my frozen veggie mix. Yep veggies "THE ZERO POINT" food.
If you eat 1 cup
30 cals
0 fat
1 fiber = 0 points
If you eat 2 cups
60 cals
0 fat
2 fiber = 1 points
Also my frozen chopped spinach
Servings size 220 grams I serving
Its
70 calories
1 fat
8 fiber = 1 points Yep calculates to 1 point and it’s a veggie. You’d count the point wouldn’t you?
I would.
This even applies to non-veggie foods that are ZERO points If you eat more then one serving.
Like for instance
Egg whites.
1 egg white is zero
2 egg whites is what zero
And
3 eggs whites is 1 point
So if you ate 3 ZERO point foods (such as the 3 zero point egg whites together at the same setting)
3 times the calories 3 times the fat and three times the fiber
You’d count the point’s right?
I hope you would so then…Why should it be any different with veggies?
Here’s another
My little zero point La tortilla factory tortillas
If I eat one
50 cal
2 fat
8 fiber ZERO points
If you eat 2 it's no longer ZERO!
It would be
100 cal
4 fat
16 fiber = 2 points
Oh, Oh here’s another one that really gets me…
My large La Tortilla Factory Tortillas
1 tortilla
100 cals
3 fat
12 fiber 1 point
2 tortillas
200 cals
6 fat
24 fiber = 4 pts that’s more then double! Crazy huh?
Hope this helps some and doesn't totally boggle your minds.
So rather it’s one two or three times the servings you should
ALWAYS ALWAYS check.

For me it only makes sense.
Calories in are calories in no matter what form.
If I eat it I count it.
If I bite it I write it.
It ALL counts!
This is what works for me,
However I know that there are many WW’ers that never count veggies and never well.
That is their choice. NOT mine
I’m NOT saying that MY way is the right way I’m just saying I do what my WW leader taught me and follow weight watcher guidelines and thats what works for me.
so yep.......I’m a counter.
I even count my veggies... If I eat more then one serving or sometimes even one serving has points I count them. Like my spinach or my peas both of which a serving sizes = 1 point. Veggies sometimes do = points
