Here, listen, just quickly.
Seems we've been a bit slack (well, we were the UK slackest VW club after all) and we've not had a meet for a while, the old MSN site died a death, so we thought it best to at least have something, albeit a free, nasty website just to let you know that some of us are still buzzing about.
We have been talking, the commitee that is, well, Stuart and myself about having a meet at some point soon seeing as the PennineVW baby boom seems to be calming and people are finding that they have a tad of spare time again so we reckoned on having a bit of a do!
Next problem was a venue.
Being as we are all individuals we never managed to find a venue that any of us were completely happy with, and we think that it would always be the case, with that in mind we have to start somewhere, and seeing as the Castle Hill pub has been turned into a carpark by some nasty men from Netherton we sort of thought that we should stay somewhere near to our "Spiritual home" and well, we found a place where the owners son is restoring a split, so it seemed like an obvious choice!

Hall Bower club!
We're gunna scope it out in the next few weeks but theres a bit of parking at the front, beer, fizzy pop and crisps are all sensible money, there a bit a'grass for the youths and it's a nice place.
