Beating the stuffing out of all the other penguins is really awesome and fun! But it takes work to be a pro. Since I am one (Hee hee) I am going to teach you lots of tips and techniques to help you on your road to victory.

.1 Know The Level, know your Weapon, Know your Opponent.

In order to be a master you have to know what you are doing. There is no other way. Practice playing verses computer players until you have a good feel for the game. Then move on to more advanced techniques.

.A Know the level.

You have to know the level your playing. It's strengths and it's weaknesses. Where it's safe spots are and where it's hazardous spots are. Find places you can hide or have the advantage against your opponents. Having this knowledge can help greatly in all situations.

.B Know your Weapon

If you don't know how your weapon works, you can not use them probably.

The Fish Bucket: This is a fast firing weapon that's great at knocking your opponent off the edge. But you don't want to waste this cool weapon by missing all the time! If your opponent is running make sure you fire ahead of him so by the time he runs a little but your fish reaches him they hit him. This takes lots of practice. Don't give up!

The Fish Bomb: This can be the most destructive weapon ever. If planted just right, you can kill one, two, three, four, or even five penguins at once (as long as those penguins don't fly back to land before hitting the water). But you don't want to get blown away by the force of the bomb. Killed by self! Embarrassing! Make sure you leave your self enough time to escape and do destructive things.

The Purple Bomb: Being hit by one of these bombs means almost certain death. 70% of the penguins hit by this bomb die a watery death. This is good if you have this bomb. But just having it doesn't make penguins fear you. You have to hit them first! Even if it means not fireing right away, make sure you have a good target, or you can shoot it close enough to the penguin to make it work. Sometimes you have to preform a quick "Jump in the air turn around fire" action. This is the hardest, but with planning and practice, you can still hit your target.

Sedna's Protection: This is great for attacking, because it makes you invincible to all weapons except the punch. Yes, you can die or get hit hard if another penguin punches you. Make sure to not get close enough for that to happen. ;)

.C Know your Opponent

The key to winning is to know how your opponent acts. If you can find his/her's weaknesses you can use them to your advantage. Are they slow at turning? Do they jump or say on the ground? Do they go slow? Do they have bad aim? Find out and use them to gain victory! You can also use their strenght to your advantage. If you find out what areas they are better than you, or really good at, you can avoid them, or turn around their attacks against them. Practice makes perfect.

.2 Avoiding the Worse

No one wants to lose (but don't be a bad sport about it, everyone loses), so stay alive! Sometimes there is absolutely nothing we can do about it, but the other times we control our fate. Did we not dodge that penguins snowball? Did we leave our back open and let an opponent shoot us over the edge? Avoid this situations at all costs. If you shot someone over the edge, don't go and look over the edge to see if they are climbing back up. Better to take a change then to secure your fate.

Being hit by a Fish Bomb: You should avoid Fish Bombs at all costs, but if you happened to get launched up into the air, use these tips to land safely back on the ground if possible.

1. Fly away from the water. If your thrown towards the water, press the S (or what ever key you choose for backwards) to start flying away from the water. Do the same for what ever direction your going.
   
2. If the bomb has not quite gone off yet, and you know there's no time you escape, brace yourself. If you are going to get thrown forward, hold down S to start going backwards and minimize the force.
3. Never run away while close to a bomb. You won't make it. If an opponent places a bomb by your feet, running away will only increase your danger. Once the bomb goes off, you'll be going so fast that there is no hope to fly back to land, and you'll beat eaten by sharks!

Being hit by a Purple bomb: If your hit from behind with a Purple bomb, try to steer yourself into a tree or rock or any object that will stop you. If your hit from the front, cross your fingers in your mind and hope for the best. But you should always try to avoid this bomb, use these tips:

1. Jump over the bomb if a penguin launches it at you.
   
2. Dodge the bomb.
   
3. Never stay in one spot to make it harder for someone to hit you.
4. Hit them before they hit you.

Avoid falling over the edge: Duh! That's the point of the game, but it's not always easy. Find a place where you can stay and observe whats going on. Make sure that place is safe, like a group of trees, rocks, or ice blocks. This way if a penguin tries to hit you, you don't go anywhere. While it's not totally safe (any kind of bomb can move you), it's a smart move. Another tip is to STAY FROM THE EDGES! Unless you know what you are doing do not get near the edge. This increases the change you'll fall over or someone will hit you over.
