Was I always an eccentric writer who liked to frighten little children and weird people out? Oh yes, absolutely! NOT!! I actually started writing sometime when I was in 7th grade, and I finished my first "book" (82 pages of purely horrible writing) when I was in 8th grade.

Thankfully that book has been put out of it's misery, and is only taken out when I need to remind myself what a truely horrible story is.

So after writing my first book (which I wish could be blotted out of my life forever) I went on to write Princess Ahira and finished it by sophomore year. I continued to write, although I mostly had Starter Sickness. I would write the first 23 or 25 pages of a book and then abandon it and move onto a new project. (Just to give you an idea I started 36 books, and to this day I despise them all.) I killed my Starter Sickness when I was a senior in high school and finished The Page Turner possibly my most beloved book yet.

I struggled to try and find an agent for The Page Turner, and sadly I still haven't to this day.

Even though I moved onto college I didn't stop writing. My Starter Sickness had been vanquished, but it was quickly replaced by Time Suckage. I couldn't find enough time to actually sit down and write a good chapter, and I was having an increasingly hard time finding a good spot to settle down and write in. Short Stories became my medicine of choice. Quick to write, a new challenge to master, and fun to boot. Short Stories taught me a lot about good plot construction in 15 pages or less. But I still had a hankering for writing books. So the summer after my freshman year I sat down and wrote The Nightmare, another Kingdom Quest centered book. It was a big stretch for me since it has a lot of action scenes, but it was a great learning tool.

So what as my lazy butt been up to since then? Nonfiction, you got it! Nonfiction, the bane of my existence. I always boasted I would never write nonficton. Hahah. Hahahahahahah. I took a break from the web page and threw myself into the world of writing nonfiction. The really silly thing is...I can actually make money on nonfiction. That's right, to feed my video game and book obsession I write online articles and web content. Ironically I actually sorta like it. People pay me to sound important and talk about stuff that I'm good at. Pretty sweet eh?

SO rewind here! I am a Journalism major with a double minor of English and Japanese. I'll be taking 4th semester Japanese this spring, and I'm going to Japan at the end of May for a 2 week trip! I work for my college newspaper (again, nonfiction.) and I do a lot of writing on the side.

I am the youngest girl out of three sisters, I have two ponies, a cat, and a yellow lab named Sir Lancelot. (How much more geekier can you get?) I love to read and write, and I'm pretty interested in Japanese culture. (I'm hoping to work abroad with my minor for a year after graduation.) I am an RPG fiend, I managed to snag a Wii in the early summer so HAH-HAH to all of you hardcore gamers out there who told me I would never get one even if I sucked up to the Wal-mart guy to squirm the delivery date out of him. I am so evil. Buwahah. I have no artistic skills whatso-ever, I suck at math so much so that I take a calculator everywhere with me, and I frequently enjoy throwing snowballs at annoying people.

Thank you, and nice to meet you!
