What did I do to get started in dubbing? How did I create my own radio play? What kinds of programs did I use? Believe it (or not) I get asked a lot of questions about that kind of stuff, so I decided to start writing Media Workshops as well as Writing workshops.

The workshops are in the traditional PDF format, and they span a variety of topics that are all loosely related to the media.

Simply click on the link to view the workshop. It works the same way my short story and writing workshops database works. Right now I only have dubbing workshops, but soon there will be some radioplay/podcast and photoshop centered tutorials too.

Getting Started: A pretty in depth tutorial that teaches you the basic timeline of creating a dub. It also includes some of online resources available to producers, as well as some practical advice.

Sound Effects: A workshop that goes into the details of obtaining good sound effects, and their importance.

Getting Voice Actors: A shorter workshop that dwells on the various ways to snag talented voice actors. (A must read for the new dubber!)
