Greetings. I am Klhoeneo, but to most I am meerly Hoen. I am here to tell my story...One of triumph, and failure, of Loss, and life...Of love...and heart ache. I tell them so that you may learn of it, and perhaps live your life, in a manner so as to avoid the turmoils I have suffered, and to know that...every day is worth living...no matter how dark.

~Intro~

A stallion of ivory hue walked elegantly through the rolling gold sands of the desert. His mane and tail seemed to glitter like molten silver as the wind pulled it to it's will. Both large wings were tiped in the same sliver hue. Long tan shrine rose above his head, and just below lay his eyes, both sealed forever shut under deep pink scars. Apon his shoulder was a black and gray marking that had once named him a warrior, and two gold rings clung to his ear. He walked on, blind to the world, but never faltering a step.

The Battle for Life, and the Darkness Cometh...

In the herd I grew up in with my dear sister, it was apparent from a very young age that I was especially gifted in strength. Not many of our stallions were very strong as our herd was so peaceful there wasn't much need for brute strength. But, I was a straping young colt, and I felt I had a deeper purpose in life. As my body grew, so did my confedence till one day I was elected Gaurd of the herd. I defended our herd from various raids on part of preditors, and did rather well along side the older stallions till I worked my way up to General. My sister took the opposite path. She was dainty and elegant. As slight as a pale water lilly. It wasn't long before she'd gained the eye of a very hansome stallion whom I was rather fond of. I blessed them both in their happiness, and soon a foal was due. I was especially causious of my sweet little sister during her pregancy as she was so precious to me. And then the day came. I stood watch from a safe distance *As stallions aren't typically allowed during birth* as it proceeded. But much to my horror, as the foal let out his first cry, the smell of blood and new life caught the attention of a mountain lion, prowling in the nearby woods. I'd taken on smaller creatures like, wolves and badgers, even the occational snake, but a lion was a far differen't story. He drove at my sister before I could move. I heard her cry out as my legs moved like lightning beneth me. At last I was at her side, but in her attempts to protect her newborn son, she'd been mortally wounded. She looked up at me pleadingly from her crimson puddle in the grass. In blind rage I lept at the beast as he closed in on my nephew. I beat him with hoove and horn, skreaching as he sliced me again and again. The father came and wisked the foal away and others came for my sister as I drove the beast off. I watched the life drain from her eyes as I looked back, and in that instance...he lept at me. Both clawed paws came down on either side of my face, riping stright over my eyes. The pain was agonizing, but in that instance I was able to tilt my head just so that my horn dove itself within the creatures chest, slaying him instandly. Tossing the beast from my horn I ran blindling into the woods, driven mad by the pain till I came crashing into a tree and fell unconcious on the forest floor.

Day break...I knew this only by the warmth on my body as I tried to open my eyes and failed. Over the night, the cuts had begun to heal over, and my eyes were sealed below the scabs. In horror I cried out for my herd, but they'd long sence fled in their own terror. I was alone...I wandered for weeks, learning the forest intemately and learning to live without the aid of sight. It was ardous work, and I gained quite a few lumps for it, but I learned well, and became as accustomed to darkness as I ever had in light. I knew I'd probably never find my herd again, but to know that somewhere my nephew was alive and well, was enough to settle my broken heart.

Love Found and Lost within the Shifting Sands....

It wasn't often that others found my woods, but one fine day as I wandered about, a mare came to me. Her voice was sweet, like the sound of bells. She kept me company, and sorrowed for my handycap. I soon learned that she too was ailed as she had lost her flight. We wondered together for weeks, and every day I grew fonder and fonder of her till, one night, within the confines of my home cave, I declaried my love for her. I vowed to stay by her side for as long as she would have me, to do whatever I could to save her from whatever terrible past it was she ran from. And she greeted me with open arms. I'd never felt so complete sence my life with the herd. I loved her truely and devoutly, but it was just after that, that fate began it's terrible game with us.

The very next day, we awoke to the smell of smoke as my forest was burning to the ground. We tried to flee, but traps set for her, caught my love. In strength I'd not used in years, I pulled her to my back, and we fled to the sky, she acting as my eyes. We flew to the desert where the forest ended, but these were lands known to her...and not fondly.

Before long, the persuers caught her trail and we were chased over the shifting sands till I took flight once more with her, and we found ourselves at an oasis. We seemed alone till a voice broke the silence. A stallion, one whom appeared to know Anubis came and offered us shelter. She did not relate the aquaintance, but we accepted the housing none the less. He fed us, and gave us rooms to sleep in, but later that evening he asked to bear us a gift. Me my sight back, and Anubis her flight. I was reluctant. I feared that if I ever opened those eyes again, I'd be doomed to see the dying of my poor sister again. The thought terrified me so I fled when he "accedentally" split some apon me. Anubis eased my worry, and we left to try out her new wings. As he returned, I swallowed my fear and forced open my eyes, bearing sight to the most beautiful thing I'd even seen. I'd loved her without sight, but seeing was so much more than I'd even dreamt possible. I fell even deeper in love with her than ever, and we returned for another night's rest once the spell had ended.

But our host had horrible plans. He lured me from my bed and suggested a walk. As we went, he told me of his past, and how it directly related to hers. HE had been the one hunting her as his herd had decreed they be married so many years ago. I tried to fight him, but he sent his aid...a tiger, to my distruction. I fought vallently, and avaided the beast, only to be struck down by yet another servant...a mutant cobra. In this battle I was knocked unconcious, and tossed asside like a doll.

When I awoke, the greif and shame bareing down on my heart like no other pain I'd even known, I was in the presence of a mare claiming to be a lost sister of Anubis. She said that with her aid, we could save her sister and my love, and end that beasts reign forever. So we set off. With her help in distracting the kougra, I found my way into the fortress, and to the room where the wedding was already in session. But just as I neared them, he forced the door closed. And so I battle, fighting off his minions, and trying to tear down this door, with my teeth if nessisary. I MUST save my love, or die trying.....

~Friends, Family and Enemies~

*My Love*

Anubis: The light in my darkness. She is ever the reason I live and breath. I love her more than life itself and would give that meager price for her safty. She cared for me when no other creature in the world would, and so I shall remain at her side for all time. And NOTHING short of the hand of god himself will stop me.

*Enemies*

Kasacon: This is the beast that threatens to take my love for his own. His selfish ways, and lies will get him no where, for if I must tear his heart from his chest myself, I will NOT let him prevail. I shall slay this demon and save Anubis from her past once and for all.

Aramarth: The tiger who swears his allegence to Kasacon. We nearly killed eachother on the desert sands, but I appeared to be winning when I fled for the castle. He seems determined to end my life, not for Kasacon, but for his own sick pleasures, and dare he cross me again, I will finish what I started.

Atrocitas and Immanitas: The two headed snake that is also under the order of Kasacon. He almost seemed reluctant to stop me, as if he didn't truely have the heart for it, but his allegences must run deep as he still stoped me, and only showed his mercy in sparing my life.

*Friends*

Kohana: I do not know this mare well, but she appears to know Anubis and Kasacon in some way. The fact that she know's that beast makes me uneasy, but as of now, she appeared to be no harm to me. She's quiet, and lost in thought often. I keep my eyes open, and gaurd the coming future around this mare....

Sabrina: As with the previous mare, I don't know much about this one, but she appears to be quite the kind heart. Without even knowing me, she offered to use her craft to heal my sight, but as I have told others, I prefer myself as I am, though thank her for her generous offer.

Calliset: This is the mare that claims to be kin of Anubis. I don't know if she speaks the truth, but I do know she cared for me when I was injured and is helping me in my battle to free my beloved, so for the time being, she is an allie in my book.

~Pet~

Ark: One day, within my woods, a strange noise came to my ears. The pitious cry of what seemed to be a bird. As I neared the sound, I found a tiny falcon, or so I gathered from the tone and pitch of his cry. He'd fallen from his nest and was lost. I attempted to return him to his home, but as I could not see his nest, my search was in vain. I desided instead to care for the little creature myself, and raise him as best I could. He grew fast and strong, and soon came to know me as his family. He grew protective and loving of me, even to the point of defending me in danger, and guiding me when I knew not where I was headed. He's an invalueable comrade, and I love him dearly. A treasured friend forever.
