He is pictured at the Newark & Notts 4 STAR young show where he took BEST IN SHOW.
INTRODUCTION
Hello, I am a breeder and exhibitor of rex rabbits in standard and miniature, based in the Bedfordshire countryside. I am a member of THE BRITISH RABBIT COUNCIL. I specialise in standard black otter rexes and have had best otter rex at the Bradford Championship show for four years out of six. My first Bradford win was 'Star', who is also a Double Gold Champion. In 2007 I had my Bradford win with 'Bellatrix' who has a number of Best In Shows under her belt. Hurricane was my 2006 Bradford winner and the previous year I won with Shadow who went on to become Best Ladies Exhibit in the show.
Other wins in 2007 include Best Rex at the Cambridge Spring Show and Best In Show at the Newark & Notts 4 star Agricultural Show (Young Show) with Mars, a young otter buck sired by Hurricane. In September of 2007 I also took Best Otter Rex in both the Adult and Young shows at the LONDON CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW. Zodiac, my adult, went on to become 4th best rex over all out of 117 exhibits, and Adhara, my youngster went on to become 5th best rex in the young show out of 98 exhibits. I also got 6th best rex in the young show with Wolf. In October 2007 at the Peterborough Autumn Exhibition Show, I took Best Rex & Best Member's exhibit with Adhara. She is turning out to be a stunning doe. I also got Best U/5 month rex with Sirius. In November 2007 I won best adult otter rex and a 4 star CC with Adhara at the Lincolnshire Championship Show. I also won best U/5 month otter rex at the same show. I won Best Rex at the Luton show with the same U/5 month otter rex.
At the Bradford Championship show 2008 I took Best Otter buck and 7th in the Rex St Leger stakes. In March 2008 I won BEST REX at the Luton Show with Estella. The 2008 London Championship Show saw me take Best u/5 month otter rex who was on Victory Row.
After a long break from showing, I burst back onto the scene in November 2009 with a Best In Show at the National Otter Rex Club show with my young adult doe, Magic.
I occasionally have black otters available for rehoming and for sale. I have ex-show adults, youngsters and babies. Prices range from 45 pounds depending on age and quality. All rabbits are BRC rung (but will be removed from breeding animals and pets) and I can provide a full pedigree. All rabbits leave here with a large information pack, a care sheet and plenty of food!
