Outreach
In 2010 the Church experimented quite successfully with a couple of Messy Church events. These proved quite popular.
Until recently we ran a community cafe, Touchstones, from our premises which served meals to local residents and workers. We also offered a Debt Advice Service in partnership with Derby City Mission until the service was withdrawn.
On Thursday evenings we are currently running with a club for East European children. The Cool Kids Club operates in partnership with the St James’ Centre and tries to provide social and recreational activities for young children whose poor English prevents them from accessing mainstream clubs.
