Billy, Mary, Marty and Janie are set for a summer filled with fun. One of the gang finds an old map of England. Then Mary's aunt, an archaeologist, sends them a stone gargoyle from London. It seems to be a weird coincidence, until the children find a golden key and a riddle inside a hidden compartment of the gargoyle...linking the map and gargoyle together. The children then discover something that's been hidden for centuries.
