"Drive to Live"

The Boys

Paul Coleman and Michael Sefcik were killed in a car accident in February 2007.  They were just 16 years old.  They died because of an inexperienced driver.  The teenage driver had no driver's education training and over corrected after going off of the berm of the road and lost control of his car.

Both boys died at the scene but the driver survived.  Michael was one of 3 children and the youngest in his family and Paul was an only child.  They were lovable, likable, with a great sense of humor and very much adored by all their friends and family.  They made a great impression on all that they touched. They are and will be missed tremendously!

PCMF Mission Statement

Paul's parents initiated The Paul Coleman Memorial Foundation with the goal of providing teenage drivers the opportunity to attend a driver's training course whereby this situation can be prevented in the future.  The foundations is working to raise money for those students who cannot afford to attend a defensive drivers education course. The more teens that we can assist to attend a drivers training course will hopefully lead to reducing the statistics for teenage deaths.

The Logo

"What does our symbol represent and where did it come from?"  This symbol was an inspiration of Paul's.  He envisioned this design for the hood of his truck.  Unfortunately, he was not able to see that happen and we now use this logo in honor of Paul.

The Second Annual Ride

The second annual Paul Coleman Memorial Ride was held on August 9, 2008.  The ride began at Stone Mountain Harley Davidson and finished at E. E. Robinson Park in Suwanee. There were over 150 bikes participating.  The ride was police escorted once again this year by the Lawrenceville Police Department.
