My name is Pauline Lewis. Welcome to my website.
It is about my life in general and also 'Living in Spain'.
Having taken early retirement, my husband, Phil, and I moved from Hereford, England, to Spain in August 2004. We have had a villa built up in the mountains near the small Spanish village of Riogordo. In Spanish 'rio gordo' means fat river! (rio means river and gordo means fat, but they say it round the opposite way to us!)
This is our daughter's wedding in April 1998.
Her husband is Paul.
On the left is our son, Geoff.
On the right is Paul's sister, Debbie, who is now also Geoff's girlfriend!
Emma has two gorgeous children,
Sam, aged 8 and Jake, aged 5.
My biggest regret about moving to Spain is having to leave my children and grandchildren behind, but they visit often. On subsequent pages, I will show photos of the region we live in, and our villa. I will also tell you why we took early retirement and moved abroad.
