Following are the instructions for saving the script with PSP8/9.

Paint Shop Pro allows you to create up to nine special scripts called BoundScripts. Because these scripts are essentially commands, you can drag them into a toolbar, a menu, or assign them a keyboard shortcut.

A BoundScript is created just like any other type of script. However, you must name it “BoundScriptn”, where n is a number ranging from 1 to 9.

Note: If you or someone else using your computer has previously saved a script as "BoundScript1", be sure to use a different BoundScript name for saving this file. (i.e. BoundScript2, BoundScript3 ect.) The file names BoundScript1 thru BoundScript9 are all ready inserted in the file folder, so when you click save you will be prompted that you are about to over write a file. Click "OK" only if you are sure that you are someone else has not saved a script as this name.

  1. Click on the "Save Script Recording" icon , far right side of the Script Toolbar.
  2. In the "Save As" dialog window make your selections to match the graphic below, then click "Save".

  3. Go to View>Toolbars and turn off the Script Toolbar
  4. Go to View>Customize. Click the "Commands" tab in the "Customize" dialog window. Under the "Categories" column, scroll down and click on "Bound Scripts". Now under the "Commands" column click and hold on "Run Boundscript 1" and drag the icon up onto the PA Bar and release, just as we did when we were building the PA Bar.
  5. Close the "Customize" dialog window.
  6. The Conversion formula is now ready to use at anytime by simply clicking the icon on the PA Bar.
