hearing the 50.s
replying,
hearing the bombadier say
“Bombs Away”
hearing the whistling of the bombs as they're dropping,
watching a 17 leave
formation,
watching the lead plane of the
100th get shot up
getting shot at by flak
joining the 390th,
and you thought your life was
hard
