Read and study Genesis Chapter one, and two.
The Hebrew Name Elohim in Genesis chapter one that is translated God means One God-one Elohim said let us make man in our own image.

Jesus is the Image of the Invisible God
Colossians 1:15. Who (Jesus) Is the image of the invisible God,The First Born of every creature.
Read Hebrews 1:3
Also the Hebrew word YahweH means self –existent-the Eternal-The Ever-Living
Jesus Christ, said in Rev.1:8
Iam Alpha and Omega,The Beginning and The Ending,said The Lord (Jesus)which is, and which was,and which is to come Almighty.
Yahweh and Jesus Christ is one and the same!

In John 5:39 Jesus said, "Search the scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life and they are that which testify of me."
The ancient writing in John 1-3 is the oldest history in the Bible. It proves and establishes the truth that Jesus Christ is God.
John 1-3
1. In the beginning was the Word (or Jesus) and the Word (or Jesus) was with God, and the Word (or Jesus) was God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God (or Jesus).
3. All Things were made by Him (Jesus) and without Him (Jesus) was not any thing made that was made.
Was the Word or Jesus made Flesh.
John 1:14
And the Word (or Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, we beheld His glory. The glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth.
How was the Word (or Jesus made flesh?
Read and study Matthew 1:18-25.
Read and study Luke 1:18-25
Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said unto her, "The Holy Ghost shall come upon Thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow Thee: Therefore also that Holy Thing which shall be born of Thee shall be called the Son of God.
This fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah 7:14:
Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign. Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son and shall call his name Im-man-u-el.
Read and study Matthew 1:23.
Notice the word Em-man-uel being interpreted as God with us.
Read and study John 1:14.
The Word (or Jesus) was made flesh.
Read and study John 5:18.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him (Jesus), because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Jesus said in John 10:30, I and my Father are one.
In John 12:45 Jesus said, "And he that seeth me seeth Him that sent me."
What did Jesus tell Philip in John 14:9?
Jesus said unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet has thou not known me, Philip. He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father."
Ready and study Chapter 17 of John.
Chapter 17 of John tells us The Father and Jesus are one.
Ready and study Philippians 2:5-11.
Also Colossians 1:12-19
Also Colossians 2:9
For in Him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fullness of the God Head bodily.
Titus called Jesus God.
Titus 2:12
Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
Read and study Hebrews Chapter 1.
Notice Verse 8 in Hebrews Chapter 1: But unto the son He saith, Thy throne, O god, is for ever and ever.
I John 5:20
And we know that the son of God is come, and hath give us an understanding, that we may know Him. That is true, and we are in Him, that is true, even in His son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
I John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost are one God. (And his name is Jesus.)
I Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Read John 1:14 once again.
The Word or Jesus was the God manifest in the flesh.
