Q. & A.

Here are my thoughts on these questions...

  • when are you going to find a boyfriend?
  • How will you ever get to know someone if you don't date?
  • How will you know he is the right one if you've never dated anyone else?
  • What is so wrong with kissing now?

Answer: You don't have to have or find a boyfriend because, as I said before, 1. It's not Biblical. 2. Jesus should be our Prince Charming, our all. we don't need anyone else. Jesus have given us girls a fulfilling feeling. The world does not know or comprehend what it is to be in love with Jesus. Few understand that our greatest joy in life will come from fulfilling that purpose for which we were created-having fellowship with our Creator and glorifying Him.  We should have intimacy with Him.

Answer: You don't need to worry about that. That is treating God as if it isn't possible for Him to bring someone into your life without dating. God is all powerful. He can have you get to know someone anywhere at anytime.  Now if you are courting..it's a different story. The Lord will lay it on your future husband's heart telling him that you are the right one. The Lord will also give that confirmation to the girl's father and the girl. So there is no need to worry about not getting to know someone if you aren't dating. That is NOT trusting in our AMAZING GOD!!! We should Wait on the Lord. And focus ourselves on Him and only HIm alone.

LIke I wrote before...these are-

Benefits of waiting on the Lord:

I will not be ashamed (need not fear disappointment or disgrace, having confidence that God Himself is my ally). " For they shall not be ashamed that wait for Me"(Is. 49:23)
The Lord will strengthen my heart. "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord" (Ps. 27:9)
You (as in anyone who waits on the Lord) shall inherit the earth. ( In the end, it is not the wicked who will receive lasting rewards, but the meek and humble.) "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth" (Ps 37:9)
Your strength will be be renewed. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Is. 40:31)
The Lord will be good to you. "The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him" (Lam. 3:25)

Here are some ways Satan try very hard to keep us from the blessings found in working together with our parents. Here are 2 obstacles he places in our way:

1. Damaged Relatinships
Satan seeks to destroy our relationship with our parent by stirring up bitterness, anger, and rebellion. Obviously, this will be a huge hindrance to the strong, healthy, working relationship that is needed in order for parents and children to be able to freely discuss important topics like marriage. That is why it's essential to clear up any past offnses and to work on being close to our parents now.

2. Cultural Influence
The world is working against us. The world is telling us to do things the opposite of the Biblical way, to be independent from our parents, and to make our own decisions. Therefore, we most realize that this is just another area in which we as christians need to be willing to stand alone be following God's way and honoring our parents.

Answer: Like I said in the above question, The Lord will lay it on the young man's heart, the girls, the girl's father's heart..etc.

Answer: When you kiss a guy you have given a very special, important gift away..your first kiss. Also you have given apart of yourself away...Why would you want to even kiss a guy that might not be your husband? Giving a very special gift away to a man who won't even treasure it? Even if he might be your husband or you are betrothed...It is better to save your first kiss until the day you get married.
