December 7: "Shania Twain: Greatest Hits" was one of the final four nominees for "Country Album of the Year" at the 2005 Billboard Music Awards last night. Shania did win this award since she sold the most copies of her album in the eligibility period, according to SoundScan (roughly 2,740,000 units). Billboard's 'chart year' did not include Shania's record-breaking debut week sales for her "Hits" album... The Billboard chart year differs from the calendar year, running from chart week November 21, 2004 (BB issue December 4, 2004) through November 13, 2005 (BB issue November 26, 2005). The winner was not "officially" announced on the show, and Billboard has not yet revealed this and some other categories, but those remaining results and rankings will be published in their Year In Music 2005 issue, due on newsstands later this month.

December 1: At this year's BMI Europe Awards held November 29 in London, three of Shania's hit songs were among those honored. Shania received new "Million-Air" Awards for: "(If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!" which passed 3 million plays; and "Forever And For Always," last year's Song of the Year, passed two million plays. "Forever And For Always" is also a two-time BMI Pop Award winner (2003 and 2004) and a 2004 Country Award winner. Shania's "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing" also was honored as one of the most played in the Country genre... Shania's Million-Air certificates to date include: 5 Million Performances -- "Your Still The One"; 3 Million -- "From This Moment On," "Man I Feel Like A Woman," "That Don't Impress Me Much," and "(If Your Not In It For Love" I'm Outta Here!"; 2 Million -- "Honey I'm Home," "I'm Gonna Getcha Good," and "Forever And For Always." Shania was also named BMI Performing Songwriter of the Year at both the 1999 and 2000 Pop and Country Awards and now owns a total of 29 BMI Awards.

For some other acts ancillary earnings were included (endorsements, films, books, clothing lines, retail stores, restaurant chains, etc.). Shania is the only country act in the top 10. FAN REVIEWS OF SHANIA'S SONGS ON HER GREATEST HITS
FROM THIS MOMENT ON
Review #1 Submitted: September 2, 2004 By: Rene rating: 10 (out of 10) This is a very special song. I will definately want it for my wedding when I get married. I love it!!!
Review #2 Submitted: September 3, 2005 By: Robin rating: 10 (out of 10) Shania is a very talented singer/songwriter who digs deep down within her soul and own experiences to bring her fans the absolute best music she can. This song duet with Bryan White who is also a brilliant artist is one of the best love songs out there. I know quite a few people who are getting married to this song and you can't pick a better song than this to get married to. As it is I have Shania's Specials dvd and on that dvd she states that she wrote this song as an eternal love song to her parents because her brothers and sister and her knew that no matter where there parents were they were in love and would remain togethter.
YOU'RE STILL THE ONE
Review #1 Submitted: September 3, 2005 By: Robin rating: 10 (out of 10) This is a true story of love. Shania's lyrics of this song are everything I felt with my husband. Also it is saying that even though some people had there doubts your still together. This song could be a description of my parents and my husbands parents when we first got married and they said it wouldn't last. Well as Shania says in this my husband is still the one and that is all that counts therefore this song is a true to life song and that is what I enjoy most about this lovely lady. She puts the truth out there in her songs and is not afraid to put anything out there and her husband who is an amazing producer makes it even better.
PARTY FOR TWO
Review #104 Submitted: September 3, 2005 By: Robin rating: 10 (out of 10) Party For Two is a fun song. Meant to show the fun in getting together with your date. Billy was looking mighty good in that video and so was Mark McGrath in his version. See right there is what makes Shania and Mutt such a blockbuster team. Shania can sing that song and do a video with each of those artists and Mutt can mix it not only for the country fans but for all of her fans that like the pop side a little more this in itself is what makes them very hard to match in sales or anything. Keep those wonderful songs coming Shania you are a gem in the country music business and you are shining very brightly.
Review #103 Submitted: June 16, 2005 By: kristen rating: 7 (out of 10) this song really wasn't that bad, but at first i hated it then i started to like it cuz it's kinda a FUN song unlike some of ya'll saying stuff about her and billy, like practically calling her a w**** or a bad wife... ya'll ARE so dumb because it's just a freakin SONG!!! duh IDIOTS!!! you can email me back and cuss me out cuz i don't care:)
