Normally artists take their 10-12 biggest songs plus one new song and call it a greatest hits album. Amazingly enough a year or so later they put out a second greatest hits album that you have to pay another $15 for to have the complete hits collection. You have to respect Shania for giving us, the fans, a great value for our money. I would recommend this album to anyone interested in getting a Shania cd as every song is a gem. For those curious, both of the version of Party For Two are great. I won't try to describe them as I'll trip over myself. The song's got potential but after a few plays it can be a little annoying.... still! Shania looks different in her video...with crimped hair extensions, a tight top and funny looking cargos with loose strings. She shows off the Canadian flag (how patriotic!) and some objects that she holds close to her heart..such as an AC/DC top etc.. But according to what i've heard..UP isn't the only single she's released- in some countries instead of releasing UP, KA-CHING was played and possibly other nations are pumping I'M NOT IN A MOOD (TO SAY NO) too...

You have to look at a song from mulitple angles... >From the vocal angle, this is perfect, but then again it's Shania Twain, who's known for her unbelievable voice. As expected, she knows exactly when to use different vocal techniques, and she executes them with startling precision. >From the musical composition angle, it's an interesting song, although I must say that even the pop version comes off a bit twangy. For some, this may be great, but for the average pop-radio listener, this can be a bit of a turn-off. (Please note that I love country music, as long as it's mature. Dixie Chicks good. Cledus T. Judd bad.) >From the lyrical angle, all I can say is 'bleh.' Personally, I like lyrics that don't rely on kitsch like 'You can bet'cher bottom dollar in time/ You're gonna be mine.' Sorry, but between that and the line about real estate (and she's gonna get her some land), it really just causes the stupid-alarm to go off in my head. However, I think her superb vocals have salvaged this song from a poorer ranking. This certainly isn't my favorite Shania material, but it's still nice to hear that beautiful voice.
