St. George of England Church

 Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Pasadena/Cormack website!

Nestled in the beautiful Humber Valley, this parish consists of approximately 450 identified Anglican families making up two congregations: St. David of Wales, Pasadena and St. George of England, Cormack.

The Parish is rich with an abundance of people ready and willing to do God’s work, using their gifts, talents, time and treasure. While the Parish is active in many aspects of Christian life, there’s always room for more!

We enjoy worshiping together and in a variety of ways. At St. David’s, services are 9am with Holy Eucharist and 10:30am alternating between Holy Eucharist and Morning Prayer. Once a month at 7pm, there is an informal Prayer and Praise worship. At. St. George’s, worship times alternate between 11am and 7pm. The morning worship is Holy Eucharist while the evening worship involves Evening Prayer or Prayer and Praise. On occasion throughout the year, we come together as a Parish to worship, celebrate and fellowship.

In both congregations, there are active servers, Sunday Schools and Alpha Youth (in preparation for Confirmation) ministries, a wide variety of musical voices and instruments, ACW’s, Bible studies, and a very active licensed lay ministry, eucharistic assistants and pastoral visitors. St. David’s also has a Men’s Fellowship and prayer groups. A prayer ministry at St. George’s is being planned.  Along with vestry, parish council, worship committees, newsletter committees and other meetings throughout the year, there is never a dull moment.
