The Parramatta Holroyd Lapidary Club provides an environment where people with a common interest in rocks, minerals, gemstones, jewellery making, enameling, casting or carving can get together and share their skills and knowledge with each other. The facilities and equipment available at the clubroom for member's use are second to none.
The club is a non-profit organisation where teachers volunteer to lead classes in the lapidary arts and related hobbies. Day and weekend field trips are also offered to search for gemstones such as sapphire, topaz, agate, petrified wood, minerals fossils and even gold.
Club meetings are held on the 4th Saturday of the month at 2pm in the clubroom at Wentworthville. All are welcome.
On June 6th, 2017 the club will celebrate its 57th year!
